About
University of Sussex Drama Finalists Performance Festival 2023
3 days
9 original performances
5 spaces
34 Drama finalists
The seventh annual Drama Performance Festival features original works made by finalists on the BA Drama programmes. The performances in this festival are created for the Independent Research Project: Practical module, in which students undertake an advanced-level research project leading to the development of an original performance that is the practical equivalent of a written dissertation. While the performances have been developed this term, they really represent the three or more years of rigorous creative and critical explorations undertaken by students.
This year’s festival includes work staged across the University campus: performances will take place at the Meeting House Chapel, in Stanmer Park, in Attenborough Centre for Creative Arts, the Creativity Zone and the Silverstone Drama Studio.
Tickets to the festival are free. You may reserve yours by selecting the performance you wish to see from the schedule below.
