About
The University of Sussex English Society (EngSoc) present their first ever Academic Conference. This isn’t just any conference, though; this is a conference done Sussex EngSoc style.
This year’s conference has the diverse and exploratory theme of ‘Stories, Journeys & Experiences’ and will feature a range of presentations, academic talks, poetry and short fiction from a wide range of Sussex students. It’s also not a Sussex EngSoc event without their world-famous (or at least campus-adored) Poetry and Short Fiction workshops.
The Sussex EngSoc Academic Conference will feature keynote speeches by Sussex academic and brilliant writer Minoli Salgado and local slam poet extraordinaire Michael Parker.
All are welcome at our conference. Young or Old, Brighton or Sussex, Student or Local community member… we’d love to see you there.
This Conference wouldn’t be possible without the support of the School of English, University of Sussex Student’s Union and One World Sussex.
